HomeKit Always Recording

Just hooked up HomeKit after much difficulty (no more free smart cloud after Pro 2, no set-up code on box, no set-up code on hub, Arlo app didn’t recognize HomeKit device). Now I can’t get my cameras to stop recording in HomeKit. Since we’re two model cameras past the Pro 3, shouldn’t this issue be resolved by now? Getting frustrated with Arlo’s constant headaches - still in the return period - anyone want to help me out with a solution?

It looks like it is taking a picture every 2 seconds when HomeKit is open. The Arlo app says they are off... but looks like HomeKit has its own plan.
