does anyone know what the Arlo Essential Camera freezes and locks up when the spot light comes on? i have to go to live view to re set them

If removing the camera from your account and reinstalling it doesn't help, I'd suspect a faulty camera. Use Settings, Support to select your camera model. Scroll down to Contacts to start talking to official support.

its two new cameras side by side so i would think both were bad because they both freeze up when the spotlight comes on. it doesn't do it all the time though.

Side by side may be an issue if the internal radios are competing with each other. Try separating them to see what happens.

i separated the cameras and they still freeze up when spot light kicks on

Use Settings, Support in the app to choose your camera model. Scroll down to Contacts to talk to official support.
