Control Arlo cameras through IFTTT, Home Kit or Google Home

The implementation of Arlo’s new system has resulted in it no longer being possible to control the cameras individually. I have waited for over a year for the implementation of Custom Modes but have now given up. Does anyone have experience with instead using IFTTT, HomeKit, or Google Home to regain the ability to control the individual cameras in their system? My wish is to be able to control each individual camera—that is, when it should be active, what it should trigger on, and what should happen then.

With IFTTT you can use triggers to arm or disarm the cameras. Customer modes will be coming back soon. I will update you as soon as that is implemented.

Could you please define "soon" for the community? Over a year has passed since the functionality disappeared. With respect for the customer base, it would be helpful to know the actual truth, is it coming back, and if so when. My needs have to be fulfilled and I have been very patient

It is currently available for some users/regions and we're hoping in the near future for it to be available to everyone.
