we are interested in the home security system, specifically for the door/window sensors. If the system is set to “away” and someone attempts to open a window or door Will there be an audible sound in the house or will we only receive a notification on our phone. We want an audible sound. If yes, is it considered a paid feature? Thanks!

The security hub does make a chirp like other systems I've seen. There are other options that you can enable, too, such as a siren, turn on a light, etc. These don't seem to need a subscription although I'm not 100% sure of that. The premium features are listed here:
