Arlo Security Keypad Security Link Coverage

Hello,

We recently bought an Arlo outdoor security camera and we are thinking about replacing our current ADT security system with Arlo.

I do have a concern, however, as I want to put the main keypad in the back of our house where we enter and exit from our garage / mudroom and I wonder if secure link coverage will reach the devices in the front of our house (same floor and second floor too).

I am also wondering if the second keypad (the wireless keypad) is like a Wi-Fi extender (security link extender), or does it just connect to the primary keypad?

The wireless keypad does not have extending cpabilties. The main keypad can connect to a smart hub or base station which theroetically can act as a range extender. The keypad connects wirelessly to base station/Smart Hub
