I have reached out to support regarding the Arlo Go 2 to see if they are able to look into the SIM card error further. They will be reaching out to you as soon as possible.

I've had an Arlo Go 2 for quite a while now and I'm very happy with it.

Recently however I changed over the SIM and update that APN information and everything works fine except for this annoying message; SIM inserted, A SIM Card in inserted and must be activated in order to be used. The home screen for the camera has a mess of Privacy Shield closed, open and go live messages all on top of each other and an icon of a camera with a line through it.

The thing is... it's already activated because it works fine. Sends video clips as usual, detects movement, everything! I have of course gone through all the steps again two or three times but it doesn't fix the issue.

Clearly this is an error. It has been flagged before which is why I used the exact same Subject as the last poster. No solution was added for that post.

I should have also added that the privacy shield closed message makes no sense as the Go 2 does not have a privacy shield of any kind. This would only be on something like an Arlo Essential indoor camera.
