my Arlo go 2 connects to wifi ok in my office at home

but wont connect to a wi fi access point at back of property

Is the access point also configured for WPA2 (AES) encryption? Is the SSID and password the same as for your main network? You may want to try connecting to your router by bringing it inside and then go back to the desired location to see if that works.
