How Can I turn on/off for motion detection and sound detection at my pleasure? Arm Away mode has no pencil icon to fine tune video length as people have disgust.

First, look at the default mode settings (pressing on the camera settings wheel).

But to address your question -there is no special control to enable editing the rules, because the editing is always enabled for them. You just navigate into the rules and change them.

There are no rules that will allow me to turn sound detection on or off.

I use sound detection alarm all the time in my sheds, middle of the night and it starts raining or very windy I can turn sound detection off and leave motion detection on. This new app doesn't allow this, just thought someone would know how to make it happen.
