If the cameras are NOT armed, they will still allow logging in and Live Viewing.

This will prob use the least amount of data as the triggered ( motion ) event will not be recorded and sent to the arlo servers. But even live viewing the data usage goes to the cloud and then to you at a rate of ( IIRC ) about 1 meg for 10 seconds.

Is there a way for Arlo Go camera not to upload any recordings and to only use data when we log in?

Hello, my friend and I are looking for a camera to be able to view our horses in their paddock and in the barn when we’re not around. Our problem is we don’t have wifi. So I found the Arlo Go. I was wondering if there was a way or setting for the camera to not upload any recordings and to only use data when we log on to live view. We don’t have worry of people in there with them, but we want to be able to check in on them periodically while working or at home.
