The Arlo Go works off of a cellular connection whereas the Arlo Pro models work off of your Wi-Fi and require a base station for communication purposes. But, that being said, you should be able to view all your cameras in the app regardless of the type.

I'm looking to purchase the Arlo Go with a Verizon plan but am having trouble figuring out if I can have 2 or more cameras set up with Arlo Go. Can I simply buy a 2nd camera, such as the Arlo Pro, and add it on?

Yes, you can view multiple Arlo Go cameras in the same app on the same account, but you can't link them together or do cross triggering like you can with the Arlo cameras that have a base station. Each camera needs to be looked at like it's a one-camera system.
