ARLO GO - VERIZON

The thin membrane on the bottom of the battery compartment button has broken on one side. I believe this elastic membrane is what allows the button to be depressed and pop up again, but now it's just sticking in the down position and sinking into the battery compartment. This does not appear to be user-fixable.

The camera is still under warranty, so I will exchange it. But we have 7 more Arlo Go's and I wonder if this is a known issue from a design flaw. Anyone heard of this?

Here's how this turned out...

Verizon said it was a Netgear problem.

Netgear said it was physical damage and not covered under the warranty.

Asurion (the insurance plan) covered it with a $19 deductible and overnighted me a brand new camera.

Get the insurance. It's totally worth it.
