Model No. VMB3000 - Trouble with recording..

Lately, my two cameras have failed in motion detection and recording. I have to walk within 2 feet of the camera in order to get a detection. The unit is not even 2 years old yet. The batteries are fresh and I have tried all kinds of adjustments. It used to record a person from far away as 30 feet.

Would appreciate any suggestion.

Are you using a default mode (Armed) or a custom mode?

What sensitivity are your cameras set to? Have you tried increasing motion detection sensitivity?

Is this consistent behavior or is it intermittent?

I tried both, Armed & Custom. It only seems to record when the cameras are within 6 feet of the motion.

That may not be unusual depending on the positioning of the camera. Best detection is across the FOV, starting at an edge. Post a screenshot for suggestions.
