motion detector picks up motion below camera view

Camera detects motion and starts recording but there is nothing in view for first 2- 3 seconds .... until I walk into the picture.

I can actually stand below the view, activate the motion detection to start recording and not be seen.

Tape the PIR Lense with some masking tape and see if it triggers.....
