How do I manually turn detection on or off without schedules

I work from home and want to completely delete the schedules. I want to simply turn the detection on and off every time I enable or disable my home alarm system.

I have tried all motion on and off modes but it doesn't seem to be reliable. a few times it worked and other times it didn't.

I have completely deleted the all motion ON mode with the preset 8am to 5 pm schedule so I am hoping that does the trick. the system doesn't allow me to delete the "all motion off" mode.

Any thoughts

You can simply disable the schedule and use Mode - All Motion On/Off.
