motion detected, video not recorded

5 cameras plus base. I experimented with rules, #1 motion on front, record to front. #2 motion on front video record downstairs. No recordings on either camera. Attempted to delete both modes. Front mode delete hung up. Front camera icon for motion is yellow. Motion detector lights up but no video is recorded.

Looked for reset default - don't see it. Looked for manual firmware update, don't see it.

Help?

Also - wifi is +2, batteries are 93%

More: the email alert for front motion sends me to a video on the DR camera, which is disabled!

I need a reset to default!

I would still like to know how to update firmware.

The best way to update firmware is to let it run overnight - it's automatic. Open and close the battery door to reset the camera. The current version is 1.2.4941.

What was the resolution for "detecting motion but NOT recording"?

Full batteries.
