No video trim & crop for Android users?

I see Apple users got this feature in September. I am unable to edit .mp4 downloads either from my Android phone or from my PC. When will we have this feature?

There is a pan and zoom feature available on Android and PC as well as iOS if you navigate to camera settings. Any editing done on a downloaded file after recording takes place must be done using additional video editing software.

Which is not currently working. What is the status of rolling out an update to fix the pan and zoom feature?

I don't regularly monitor firmware versions but I can't say that I noticed an update.
