user manual and app not the same

I am using October 2015 arlo user manual. as an example the image for settings on page 13 is not what I see on my phone or laptop. I was attempting to name my cameras. I just downloaded the app a week ago as well as the user manual. Why are they not in sync?

because between Christmas and New Year Day a major software update occured to merge in the new ( soon to be released ) Q cam...

thank you, but not a good excuse for them being out of sync. do you know how to find out when the manual will be posted. The answers to questions are not very helpful because they appear to be based on earlier releases.

Have no idea as to when a new manual will be out... But if you have a problem / question, post it...pretty good answers here
