can it be turned on and off

Can this system be turned on and off? Such as can I turn it on when I leave home, and have it off when I am home.

Not built-in. You could use a cheap timer to plug the base station into available from any home improvement store to set your schedule and have it turn on/off according to your wishes.

If you mean the entire system like a "geo-fence" , no, not at this time...

But it's a simple matter with my phone as I walk out to turn "all motion on for all cams" and turn off same when I get back... takes two button pushes.

Are there plans to make it be able to sense when smartphone leaves house and automatically turn on? When home it auto turns off?
