A new feature in the latest app update has a toggle to turn cameras off. What does switching camera off do? Put it in sleep mode or actually turn it off?

Sleep mode. If it were completely off you wouldn't be able to turn it back on.

Now that you say that it should've been obvious to me. (engage brain first). So the same as disarming. Thanks for the wake up.

Not really same as disarming... cam goes to sleep, but can't wake it up unless toggled back to active.

Stops also others ( shared friends ) from viewing or going live.
