Choose between local and cloud storage

The only thing making me think about returning my Arlo Pro System is that is appears that I cannot select specific cameras to only store locally (leaving others to store on the cloud, as standard). Why isn't this a feature?! I want to have cameras in my house but I don't want some company having the ability to spy on me, or hold my data as their own.

It is not possible to only store content locally. Cloud storage is part of the system design. With Arlo Pro, there is an optional local storage backup that utilizes the USB ports on the base station.
