I can't find anything in the app that allows to to change record time when motion detected. I googled it and found someone said to look under "rules", but I can't find rules anywhere, either.

Rules are what governs each camera's operation in the particular 'mode' you're in. Most people used the 'armed' mode. If you edit the mode, you get to configure triggers and actions for each camera including changing the motion sensitivity and recording time (if you want it to record) and also whether you get email and/or push notifications

on iOS app, go to MODE at the bottom of the app. Then select your hub. Then select the pencil icon to the right side of the mode that records the video. Then select the pencil next to the appropriate Record rule. You should have a screen that shows the camera, and that when motion is detected, record video. Next to where it says record video there is another pencil for you to select and that will control the duration of the video.
