Just want to make sure. The 7 day free cloud storage does NOT expire when the 3 month support ends.

Correct. Storage is a completely different issue.

Nope. Storage remains free although still limited to 7 days on a rotating basis.

so then if i put a usb drive in there with about 20gigs, will this keep this going for recording?
