How do I create a custom mode?

My system is approximately 6 months old. I was able to set up 3 of my 4 cameras under a custom mode.

My friend who just purchased a 4 camera wireless system is unable do a custom mode for 3 of his 4 cameras. Why is that? Can someone advise ..Thank you in advance

in regards to my previous question....

6 months ago i purchased the 4 Arlo wirleless VMS3430 cameras and was to create a rule to monitor 3 cameras at one time when i go to sleep.

My friend purchased the same system, 4 cameras. VMS3430. He also wants to add the custom mode of turning on 3 of the 4 exterior cameras at night.

I was able to do it with my system, but not with his.

Can anyone advise

Rican-piper,

What is preventing you from setting up the same custom mode on his system? Custom modes are available to all primary users and can be created using the mobile app or web client. (if this user is accessing using a shared account with restricted access that may be why they cannot create a custom mode). Reedit the custom mode. When you create the mode, only one camera rule can be set up. Edit the mode again and add another camera rule, save, rinse and repeat.
