Text notification is a must. I want Arlo to notify me 24/7 if there is movement around my home. The current email notifications just get lost with my other email during the night. I use an iPhone and can't assign a specific ring tone to my Arlo alert like I thought I could. If I got text notification, then I could do just that and it will draw my attention durin the night.

You may already know this....maybe not...Many/Most cell service providers allow 'email to text' services which would pop on your texting app. You would add this address to your email notification settings in Arlo just like a normal email address.

https://20somethingfinance.com/how-to-send-text-messages-sms-via-email-for-free/
