If you are referring to iOS push notifications, this is a feature via the Arlo app. As long as the app is running on your device, you should receive these notifications by default when using the Armed mode. If you are not, check to ensure push notifications are enabled: How do I enable and disable Arlo push notifications on my iOS device?

I would like to see Mac OS Notifications for Arlo instead of having to rely on email messages.

At times, I receive (too) many alarm events as email messages, and it would be much better to have these as OS level Notifications that can be easily regarded or dismissed.

Also, my Arlo Base Station is model VMB4000. I did not see this as an option for the Model (above), so I chose a similar model.

No, I am talking about getting Notifications on Mac OS (i.e. iMac, MacBook Pro, etc.).

As far as I know, this feature is not available. Receiving emails is the only option with Mac OS.
