I have bought 2 wifi cameras. I have contacted support and not able to resolve issue. They just keep going round in circles and appear not to understand my issue.

The issue i have is the distance claimed by Netgear for motion detection to be working.

My two cameras do NOT detect motion beyond 8 feet. I have tried everything. I have installed the cameras as instructed... reset them but still will not detect motion when object is further than about 8 feet.

Motion should be across the FOV, starting at or near an edge. The typical issue is getting too much scene in the camera view, causing issues with the above requirements. Post screenshots for specific suggestions.

I have tried everything that they have said. Made sure that motion is detected across its patch rather than towards it.

Reset the cameras..

Reset the router.

and still cannot achieve the distance claimed that it should work at.
