I was getting motion alerts that signaled on my smart phone, but when I look at the video, there's nothing moving in the video. It happened several times and was quite annoying. Does this device pick up movement of shrubs? It's not supposed to.

Hello Community,

this happened yesterday:

I got an alert on my smartphone, that a movement was detected. But there was no video in the library.

I also experienced the behaviour, that i couldn´t login to my account for several minutes. Maybe it was a server problem on netgear site?

Any others withe teh same problems?

Moving branches and/or leaves certainly can set off the motion detection, especially if the sun is reflecting off them. Not much you can do but reposition the camera or try turning down the sensitivity. Trial and error...
