topic Motion detection works, but not test mode in Features

Just got my Arlo - all paired, and I can stream video. In order to determine optimal placement, I turned on Motion Test Mode - the LED never flashes.

I set up regular modes and enabled motion detection and alerting and that worked fine. Anything special I need to do to get the Test Mode to work? It seems it would be much easier while trying different locations.

Thanks

SimonGraber, bradj

When using the Motion Detection Test feature make sure that you are atleast five feet away from the face of the camera. I would also suggest starting your test outside of the camera's viewing angle. Check out this article to get a better idea of positioning.

Please let me know if you're still having trouble!
