How do I just have certain cameras detect motion?

Turn on the mode ALL MOTION ACTIVE ( or similar named, don't remember the default name )

go to the live camera view screen

Check and see all the cameras SHOULD have a GREEN "running man" above each one. GREEN rm means motion detect is on, GRAY it is off.

To make certain cameras active ( say 2 inside. 2 outside ) and you want ONLY OUTSIDE

Make a new MODE

Go to settings/modes , hit the ADD button

Name the new mode OUTSIDE MOTION

all you cameras are listed, toggle the check mark at the end of outdoor cams to GREEN ( means active ) all other should be black ( off )

Save

Start OUTSIDE MOTION mode, go to live view screen and you should see only the running men GREEN over the outside cams.
