Been testing the new sw vs the older ( using cached copy of old )

It appears that the new sw does not function well with "nested" rules ( rules with cam A to record on B AND B record on A at same time with A on A, B on B ).

All of my older modes and rules came over as custom but not 100% the same.

First I had to go in and verity the sense was the same as old version ( some rules changed to default 80% )

After they were the same, I ran two sets of videos.

Same 3 cameras, 2 videos done mins apart; 1 vid on old sw1, 1 vid on new sw2; ***Only diff was SW***

SEE ATTACHED PIC, two large rooms "L" shaped, entry on right side of pic

red dots are cams

Old SW1

cam A detects as entering room/ FOV, no delay

cam B detects 16+ feet away coming straight to camera

cam C detects after turning corner. about 15 ft

New SW2

cam A detects 12+ ft in from entry

cam B misses walk thru

cam c detects 8 ft away

Latest Notes / end results

I was able to improve the response of the cameras ( but not to the extent that it was ). I manage to get distance shortened ( before trigger ) by about half in SW2.

This was done by deleting all the custom rules brought over and rebuilding them ( why it makes a diff I have no clue as I did rework them originally to make sure all settings were the same )

I think the major problem is how the new sw reacts to the rules as A to A, B to B , A to B, B to A ( all running at same time). I found the best results with the swapped cameras running first in listings ( esp the slowest reacting camera B with straight on motion going first ) Some how it appears the first rule is taking more precedence than the second

hope this helps a few.
