We use the cameras at our cabin. When we arrive, and when staying, i want to switch off the motion detection. But when selecting "No motion detection", it still records and alerts when we move pass the cameras. I also tried to set the scheduler to "All motion off" in periods, still not working. I had to remove the batteries when staying at the cabin.... How can I easilly switch off detection?

One of the default modes is " all motion off" chose that mode and nothing will record. If for some reason you deleted that mode you can easily recreate it by adding a mode and make sure motion is off (grey) when creating the mode.

As showguy mentioned... the running men must be GRAY and no motion record will occur. You can check the color of the running man from the camera live view screen ( top row of camera )

Here's a copy of messg to set up ALL MOTION ON... ALL OFF MOTION is the same method BUT THE CHECK MARKS WILL BE BLACK.

so go into SETTINGS/MODES click edit (pencil)for the mode all motion off and make sure all are black

‎2015-08-01 01:24 PM

soxnd wrote:

I went to modes and couoldn't find all motions on

It is ONE of the two defalt modes... MOTION ON ( or similar named ) and MOTION OFF

If you deleted it, you can remake it;

Go to SETTINGS / MODES... go to the top right and click the ADD button

A new window pops up and will show every camera you have... GIVE the MODE a name lile ALL CAMERA MOTION ON ( or similar that you like )

Make sure each 'check mark' at the end of each camera line is GREEN

should look like this;

The GREEN check mark means the camera will be active for motion when the mode is use. ( btw black means not turned on )
