Will it have zones soon? It's always going off when a car passes by, my Logitech let me add zones avoiding this issue

Is there a way to make zones of motion detection on these Arlo's I cannot figure it out if there is. My old cameras did have that ability which is very helpful

There are NO zones on the regular Arlo cam a sit uses a PIR device to detect motion.

But, the Arlo Q cam does haves up to 3 programmable zones as it is pixel based motion detect.

Not familiar with the Logitech but if it uses a different motion detection system, like the Arlo Q, that would explain the difference. The wireless Arlo will never be able to "zone" detection since the sensor is for the whole FOV. You'd have to physically change the hardware to be able to create zones.

The fix for what you have is to check/change your camera position and angle. It may not be possible to achieve what you need but without trial and error to get the best location all bets are off. FWIW, one user here has created a "mask" using a short piece of 3/4" PVC pipe that he attached to an inverted camera to block detection from the street. Cheap and easy to do but would also require some trial and error to get the right length of pipe and position of the camera. Try a search like this:

site:https://community.netgear.com arlo pvc pipe

and look for motion detection masking or similar.
