On an iOS device, under Settings -> Arlo, there is an item "Download to Arlo". What is the purpose of that item?

This is the folder in which the Arlo app stores content on your iOS device when you manually download a piece of content from the library.

JamesC is correct, the folder BTW will be in your GALLERY as are the rest of your pictures and you can change the name if desired
