modifying motion detection video clip duration.

I modified the motion clip duration from 10 seconds to 30 seconds, however subsequent motion clips still only recored for 10 seconds. I've gone and back and verified that the time indiccated in the camera record is supposed to be 30 seconds. What am I doing wrong?

Sorry to ask but are you using the same mode you edited to trigger the recording?

You can find the option for editing clip duration by navigating to Modes > click the pencil icon next to the mode you use for motion detection > click edit on the rule you wish to change > click the pencil next to Record video. You can then edit the length of your recordings. After you are finished be sure to save to commit the changes.
