    <description>&lt;P&gt;You've got the basics set up but now you need to edit your mode(s) to tell them what zones to use. &amp;nbsp;Click the Mode tab, select your camera and edit your modes. &amp;nbsp;(BTW, don't edit the Armed mode - even if it allows you to do so, having something to fall back on that is original can be useful.) &amp;nbsp;If you only have the default Armed and Disarmed modes, create your own custom mode and set up which zones to use when detecting motion. &amp;nbsp;That should solve your issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As an aside, some folks have had problems if the Q is set back from the glass for motion detection. &amp;nbsp;Make sure your camera is set as close as possible to the glass.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi All&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sorry for the newbie Question&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have an arlo Q setup and working fine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i have also set up the detection zones as well which seem to work , but i still get alerts for any motion outside of those zones.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;if you see the attachment i get alerted for any motion outside the box's&amp;nbsp;&lt;IMG src="https://community.arlo.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/6698iB21373778DF2B228/image-size/original?v=lz-1&amp;amp;px=-1" border="0" alt="Detection zones .png" title="Detection zones .png" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
