Pisano, I provided some comments in the "Success" thread, but I'm curious how your front door camera compares to this one in terms of height and lateral angle. Do visitors approaching your front door walk straight toward the camera, or is it aimed slightly to one side or the other? Maybe you could post a screenshot showing the other camera's field of view.

I have two cameras set up. One at the front door, and one in my driveway. The one at the front door works great. Whenever I, or someone comes to the front door the sensor turns on. The one in the driveway however is terrible. I leave for work in the morning and it does not detect me getting into my car and driving away. Does anyone have a solution to this or having the same issue before i return this camera. Thanks.

It appears by the picture that your driveway camera is mounted in the center of the frame. This system works best when the camera detects motion from an angle. You may want to try mounting the camera in a corner of your garage so the motion crosses the camera view versus trying to detect motion straight on.

Well I changed it to the corner of my garage and it still does not work. I can not put it in a corner any further away because the magnetic mount they supply you with is terrible. It still does not want to detect me walking to my car or even driving my car away. But it still will detect random cars driving down my block. Netgear should be ashamed of selling this camera. The set up is very easy but the camera/sensor is horrible. It shouldn't take days to try to figure out a good spot so the terrible sensor would work. Returning this garbage tomorrow.

Given the many variables involved in different environments, it may take some trial and error to find the perfect conditions for your Arlo cameras. Take a look at the following article that outlines some tips on positioning for best performance: How do I place my Arlo camera?
