Better face shots?

Hi,

'How can I get better face shots?

i'm up 7 feet and within 300 ft of base, but mostly getting top of head shots. How should I reposition?

A picture or diagram of setting can help with answers.

But to answer your question best as possible...

There is a slight delay from the trigger event to the recording so placement is important.

BTW, to get faces is even harder cause to have to be fairly close to where the person is going to be and concentrate on that location.

I actually found for my setup location is to face the camera towards the door BEHIND where the person would be standing (at door , camera 10ft away )... this allows the person to travel through the field of view to the door so that the camera triggers recording as they appoach the door. It usu starts recording with subject about 6 ft from my door.

With the record time set long enough I always get a face shot as the person turns and walks away.
