Wireless camera makes recordings but nothing is there!

So i am getting a library full of short burst of recordings but there is nothing there and therefore nothing triggering the recording. All it is doing is draining the batteries.

What could be setting it off, is it the heat coming off the driveway?

Not specifically the heat of the driveway but perhaps a reflection if the angle between the sun, driveway and camera is right. I get lots of afternoon recordings on one camera because the sun's IR is reflecting off leaves, etc. Are the recordings always at the same time period during the day and not during the rest of the day?

Another possibility could be birds or insects flying through the field of view but exiting the scene before the recording has a chance to start. Sometimes I catch the bird(s) but not often.
