Additional camera added without purchasing plan.

I can live stream, but will not record anything. Am I out of luck to get to view video that “ set it off”?

no point in getting plan… live out in country and any response time, from null n void .

Both the original arlo cameras do record activity and keep videos until I delete .

They were sold with 7-days of free cloud storage.

All current cameras require a subscription to get any cloud storage. That started back in 2018 with the Ultra.

If your account was created in a country where Arlo offers subscriptions, then you would have been automatically opted into a trial when you installed the camera. You'd get recordings during the trial period, but not afterwards.

Thanks, yes got the “trial period”.. then stopped.

I appreciate you answering my question. Was soo frustrated .
Arlo should have put that on box, that a “ plan would need to be purchased “ after trial period. Glad I didn’t go back and buy more !

I was really impressed with the distance it has and quality of video.
I guess “ Eufy it is “ .

FWIW, it does say that on the box, but it is easy to miss. If you still have the packaging, look at the side that says "Arlo Intelligence". The need for a subscription after the trial is at the bottom (in rather small print).

Guess it will be used to check in on my dog periodically haha .

Glad it was on sale ….another red flag I should’ve Payed attention to. Paying attention is a must. Lol
