&lt;P&gt;It is important to get the model correct, as most users reporting similar symptoms are using different cameras - Pro, Pro 2, the original Arlo WireFree.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The Essential is sealed, so the housing cannot be opened (unlike the other models listed above).&amp;nbsp; There should be a faint VMCxxxx label on the camera body (or on the rubber seal at the charging port).&lt;/P&gt;
