&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;This is usually because your PC is too old to be able to play HEVC encoded video, or because your browser settings are not allowing it to use hardware acceleration.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It will not play it. Why is it that I have to download it to view it? This has been a long going problem, I always have to switch to my phone or download it to view it. Arlo keeps changing things and all it is doing is driving me away. I am using the Essential spotlight camera. Not sure of the version but I have several of them and some will play and some don't. If Arlo wants change something and only make it compatible with newer equipment then they need to make add-on drivers so it will be compatible.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I get aggravated trying to keep up with 15 cameras and some of them I have download the video... I will say this now...THAT IS A BUNCH OF CRAP.&lt;BR /&gt;Arlo use to be great software, now it sucks like the other ones. The biggest mistake they made was taking away custom mode creations. Software is suppose to get better, not worse.. Just saying.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Joey&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;That's not an Arlo problem - it's a browser/computer thing. Without proper hardware support (and maybe an add-on to the browser) browsers can't play anything over FHD due to licensing issues.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Computers with 6th generation or later processors have the needed hardware acceleration.&amp;nbsp; These processors were introduced back in 2015.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;What processor is in your PC?&lt;/P&gt;
