Arlo pan and tilt keeps losing home position

I purchased the outdoor arlo pan and tilt 2k and I really like the features, however it keeps losing the home position every day. I've done the motor calibration several times. I have to manually go in the app and reset the home position and several saved positions everyday. It will work fine for a while then when my car pulls in the driveway it will tilt down and never return to the home position. This is really annoying to find the camera pointing down and not recording anything going on at the normal home position setting which has a bigger field of view of my property. Do I have a dud? Any help would be appreciated.

The first step would be to remove/reset/reinstall the camera top see if that helps.

It's to do the mode you're keeping the camera in. In Standby, it'll tilt down.

The camera is in armed mode, I don't even know how to activate standby? Shouldn't it go to the default position after time anyway?

You just press "Standby" on the dashboard. The mode the system is in shows up in color, the others show up in gray.

Definitely not in standby, it's in armed mode and I never change it from that mode.

Do you mean "Arm Away"? Or "Arm Home"?

Something else?

I always keep it on armed away.
