And a couple of more things:

- flicker adjustment under Video Settings always reverts to 60 (Auto). I'm choosing 50, but every time it reverts to 60 (Auto).

- the white tile also occurs when you go to video settings. The camera will take an superexposed screenshot (if night vision is on) or a black one (if no night vision is on). This is also the case when you go to Zones. I don't know if it's just mine, but that's what's happening.

- a general observation is also that the icons for switches on/off in the app in general are circles, and but for Pan and Tilt, they're a circle with the top and bottom sliced off. For example in Audio Settings.

Well, I accidently accepted my own post as a solution. I didn't mean to.

@JamesC

I've done some further testing and the issue occurs on two cameras. The white tile thing occurs in low light conditions (video in black and white) when night vision is enabled. When going into Video settings and Zones, the screenshots in those settings are overexposed. (Not sure why I wrote superexposed above, if there isn't even such a word; I probably meant superbright.) This then sometimes shows in the tiles/widgets, too.

As the app refreshes tiles every 7 hours or so, the camera refreshes with the current view, which is the white base, which, in turn, causes the tile to be super white, too, with no possibility to know where the 'Go live' button is.

Actually, this whole thing about the tiles automatically refreshing every 7 hours or so is a pretty bad idea overall. It makes me think someone has had access to my cameras and has enabled them, whereas previously, I knew when the cameras were last activated.

The lack of 4k streaming and recording is still an issue for some reason.

Firmware: 4.1.41_e2bca68

Hello,

The "Live" tag without a 2K indicator suggests the app is likely throttling the quality to compensate for a weak upload speed or a default "Auto" setting, while the white tile is a visual bug where the app is failing to cache a thumbnail preview. To get that 2K feed back, check your camera's "Video Quality" settings and ensure your Wi-Fi signal is strong enough to handle the higher data load.

What's the other camera that does the overexposure with the white? I only see one Pan tilt camera on your account. Also, I see the 50 Hz flicker adjustment is in that current picture you sent me. Did that seem to resolve itself as well?

The other pan and tilt had the same problem with overexposure with the white, but is currently not connected.

With the flicker adjustment: when you select 50, there is an audible click as if something was changing inside the camera. When you choose 60, there is no click. You then need to come out of that option and when you go back and select 60, there is a click then. However, sometimes, there is a black strip that occurs at the top of the screen. I can send you a DM to show that.

If there's enough light, like artificial light, the above-mentioned overexposure with the white doesn't occur. And neither does the clicking when changing the flicker adjustment option. In fact, nothing happens/changes when I change the flicker adjustment in artificial light.

And since the dev team removed the auto update of the tiles every few hours or so, the overexposure with the white doesn't occur in the tile for the pan and tilt on the Dashboard or in Devices. It still does, however, in the Video Settings option, as explained above.

Do it several times (on and off several times), and you'll eventually end up with a completely white screenshot.

The overexposure also occurs when you save positions like home position and custom ones.

Finally, when you select 'rotate image by 180', this option deletes all saved positions!

Also, in relation to sliders, you'll notice that for some functions in the app - like in the ones below - they have the top and bottom part shaved off, whereas in other functions, they're circles. Just thought I'd point out about this inconsistency.
