Now that ive paid for the 9.99 subscription i dont get any notifications from my feed and its a bit frustrating

First, confirm that you can make a manual recording while livestreaming the camera.

Then double-check that the system is in Arm Away or Arm Home mode.

After that, look at the mode details, and see if there is a rule listed for the camera you are using. If there isn't, then add it. If it is, then make sure recording and notification is enabled.

FWIW, often the configuration is changed when the trial expires before the paid subscription is started.
