Essential Doorbell Version 2 local storage

What local storage devices are compatible with the 2nd Gen? Doorbells? I bought a smarthub because I was told that's how local storage works for Arlo but apparently, they don't tell you it's incompatible with the gen2. So what is. I'm about ready to return this.

To utilize local storage, the camera or doorbell must be connected to a compatible Base Station or SmartHub. Currently, none of the 2nd generation doorbells or cameras can connect to a base station or a smarthub. We intend to update firmware for these devices in the future to allow this compatibility but I do not have a date to share just yet for when this will be available.
