Essential Outdoor Gen2 can move once mounted?

We have 3 Arlo 4 cameras and just got 2 more of the Essential Outdoor Generation 2 from Amazon Prime Day. The other ones have great mounts - you can rotate the camera to the exact way you want and these are immobile once mounted? You can't rotate them at all. Am I missing something? The other ones are great with the magnetic mount.

You can rotate the Gen 2 cameras - though the mount is stiff, so it does take more force.

Note you can also use third-party mounts, using any mount with the standard 1/4-20 UNC threads.
