ESSENTIAL XL Outdoor Cameras in idle mode

My cameras somehow are in the IDLE mode and not working. How do I get them out of the IDLE mode?

Sounds like you put the system in Standby.

Check the camera rules in the modes you are using.

It's not in standby. I've been using the cameras for about 7 months. One day I didn't get any notification on motion detection even when I tried to pick me up. I can look thru live view and see area. It says it's in idle mode. I can arm it but nothing.

Don't seem no one has heard of idle mode. Can't get help from Arlo. I'm really disappointed now. My wife really enjoyed the security.

What mode is the system in? Idle is a fairly new status, it generally just is telling you that the cameras are not armed.
