I am in a very busy area where the camera motion goes off every 15-30 seconds.

That will have a huge impact on battery life. So you might want to look at that issue first.

If you are using audio detection, then you probably need to turn that off.

Adjusting the camera positions to reduce the amount of activity in the field of view is a good step. The cameras are most sensitive to motion across the field of view, and are more sensitive at the bottom of the field of view than the top. After you've adjusted the camera positions as best you can, then tune the motion sensitivity. Walk around in the area where you want the cameras to trigger, and use the motion detection test to find the lowest (least sensitive) setting that reliably detects you. Then set the default motion threshold to a bit above that value.

You can then use activity zones to reduce unwanted notifications and recordings. Note these are applied in the Arlo cloud, so they will not help with battery life.

@Retired_Member wrote:

I have four cameras an every time I go to the app all the cameras do not show recent motion. It shows video displayed between 30 minutes-and hour ago

Are you looking at the feed page? Or are you just looking at the thumbnails on the dashboard or devices page?

Assuming you are looking at the feed page: It is possible that reducing the high level of activity will help with this. If you are "recording until motion stops", then you might also try switching to timed recordings instead.

If these don't help enough, then you might try reaching out to Arlo support via the support center in the app.

It shows video displayed between 30minutes-and hour ago and I am in a very busy area where the camera motion goes off every 15-30 seconds. This just stated happening last week. Anytime I go to my devices in the past all recent video was displayed on the Home Screen. It’s very frustrating how buggy these cameras are becoming.
