Use a WiFi signal strength app on your phone and see what the level is when placing the phone next to the doorbell. Poor signal strength and/or quality can cause this.

For the last couple of days, my Arlo Video Doorbell (wired, 2nd Gen) won't stream to my Arlo app. It will stream if I use a web browser - sometimes - and if I can get it to work on a browser, I can sometimes get it to work in the app on my Galaxy S24+, but not always. And even if it works for a bit, it always stops working the next time I check.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Arlo Secure app multiple times and I've tried resetting the doorbell. Nothing works besides trying to connect via web browser first and even then not always. The camera is working - I'll still get notifications when it sees movement, and when I open the app it shows an image of the last movement it captured. So the camera part is working - just not the ability to view the camera.

Anyone have any ideas? I contacted Arlo Support, who told me to do the same things I had already done.
