    <description>&lt;P&gt;No subscription. Before I was able to play back for up to a week. I have had the Arlo Base Station for years with no problems. Then I decided to purchase Gen 2 cameras and merge them with the base station and now no recording or playback. &amp;nbsp;Also the Gen 2 camera will not show any recording on flash drive&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Note that the VMB4000 supports local &lt;U&gt;&lt;EM&gt;recording&lt;/EM&gt;,&lt;/U&gt; but not &lt;U&gt;&lt;EM&gt;playback&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/U&gt;.&amp;nbsp; The only way to see the local recordings is to eject the storage from the app, and connect it to a PC.&amp;nbsp; Have you tried that?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Is the Gen 2 camera connected to your home wifi or is it connected to the VMB4000?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Do you now have more than 5 unsubscribed cameras in the account?&amp;nbsp; If you are over that limit, then you lose the free 7-day cloud storage for your legacy cameras.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
